WRAYSBURY is a lovely Thameside village opposite Runnymede. A haven of rural living, lakes, village cricket, anglers and birdwatchers. In the 1930's it was where The West End stage lived: "Are you married or do you live in Wraysbury?". So a jolly little place with high property values, lots of leafy walks, SSSI's, National Trust protection and a concerned Parish both in it's Churches and its democratic Parish Council.

OR, Just like topsy this unplanned collection of selfish land owners who have fenced off public rights of way to stop others walking their dogs. Some who have already extended and replaced their country shacks with tasteless "Essex mansions" complete with lanterns, pools and horse paddocks. Gravel pits one minute `beautiful lakes' the next, then a huge disaster of the worst example of how not to manage a rubbish dump imaginable, now at risk of becoming a chemical factory on Staines Road next to the British Airways Sailing Club. High Court and European Parliament cases have had to be brought because Council doesn't care for ordinary folk.

Have your say - Click box below to go to Watchdog Forum Message Board. Is planning permission in Wraysbury achieved by some underhand means? Is there corruption at Windsor Council?

Do you think The Feathers should be allowed to be developed or remain a wreck?

Speeding traffic, have we had enough of being a short cut for speeding lorries?

Is Wraysbury Village Club sexist and racist?

Should Wraysbury Station get all trains stopping?

Where are the buses?

Put your views - it's easy - It's democratic, it's your chance to air views the local media won't - We are in NOBODY'S POCKET.

OWNER OF THIS SITE

Richard Meacock, veteran Campaigner, beloved husband of Hilary, father of Dominic, Theodore, Duncan and Danae, and Grandfather to Sapphire, Dylan, Kayleigh, Kyle and Safiya who was born on July 19th 2006 too late for him to meet.

Richard Meacock died aged 65 years on 9th April 2006, he will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

A good honest gentleman in the old sense, his sense of humour, his honesty and integrity second to none, the World has lost a true son of England.

May he rest in peace and rise in Glory, and may his campaigns carry on in his memory.
